What it does today
- Diary and jobs: day, week and month views, jobs to book, live map, route order for each engineer, job types with deadlines to attend and fix.
- The engineer’s phone: today’s jobs, directions, photos, parts, faults found, forms and certificates, the customer’s signature and a PDF job sheet.
- Certificates: ready-made UK forms and a form builder; signed certificates are locked, corrections are numbered revisions, and sign-off can require an in-date qualification.
- Maintenance contracts: visits that become jobs before they are due, equipment with its history and a QR label, servicing due lists.
- Quotes and invoices: options, online acceptance, invoices from the job, card payments and Direct Debit into the firm’s own Stripe and GoCardless accounts, reminders, credit notes, retention, the construction VAT reverse charge.
- Subcontractors and CIS: documents with expiry warnings, jobs offered by private link, deductions worked out and monthly statements.
- People, stock and reports: time off, hours, expenses and qualifications; store and van stock with purchase orders; reports and a report builder; a log of every change.
What it does not do yet
- No app-store download: engineers use the phone’s browser.
- Full offline working and push notifications are being built.
- Live sync with Sage is coming soon (Xero and QuickBooks Online work today); a Sage 50 export meanwhile.
- No commercial gas or Legionella certificates yet; the landlord gas safety record is available.
- The Compliance package is not on sale; it is being built with the first customers.

Your data
Held on a dedicated server in a UK data centre, with nightly backups. Two-step sign-in, which an owner can make compulsory. Each business sees only its own records. A full copy of your data and PDFs within 5 working days of asking, and at least 90 days’ notice if the service ever stops. See Security, the data processing agreement and the terms.

Is Field Suite a real company?
Field Suite is a trading name of WE-DEV LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, number 15878974. You can check the company on the Companies House register.
Who is it for?
UK commercial building-services maintenance firms, typically with 5 to 30 engineers: plumbing and heating, pumps and water services, and commercial gas. Smaller and larger teams use it too.
Is there an app for engineers?
Engineers use Field Suite in their phone’s browser and can add it to the home screen like an app. There is no download from an app store.
Does it work without signal?
Pages already opened stay readable and form answers are kept on the phone and sent when signal returns. Status changes, signatures and photos still need signal; full offline working is being built.
Does it connect to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage?
Xero and QuickBooks Online: yes. Invoices, credit notes, payments and customers go across as they happen, and payments taken in the accounts program are marked paid in Field Suite. Sage is coming soon; meanwhile invoices can be exported as a file Sage 50 imports.
Where is the data kept?
On a dedicated server in a UK data centre, backed up every night. Each business sees only its own records, and you can have a full copy of your data within 5 working days of asking.
